All teams need to provide a total of 4 BBQ volunteers to cover their roster.

All teams to provide a ground marshall for their game.

We want to field two under U13 teams again this year and are currently a couple of players short.

Can everyone check with family, friends, friends of friends etc. The two U13 teams will be playing in C grade and E Grade, so are open to a players of all ability. 

Both these teams have made 2 grand finals in the last 3 years. Both winning one and loosing one. They are very capable teams and have always embraced new players.

These rules should be read in conjunction with the IRB Laws of the Game, IRB Regulations, ARU Polices and Code of Conduct.

These rules apply to all Clubs and Club Affiliates. Please distribute these rules to all your Coaches, Managers and Club Members

Online Registration

The online registration procedure for players new to the club only is as follows:

New players can now register online by going to the www.sjru.com.au/buddha/register site and putting in their email address and click “send password”. The parents will then receive an email with a password login. Once the parent has added their email address and password login into the system they just need to follow the screen to complete registration.

Unfortunately it will only allow 1 new player per family. When the new player registers it defaults to male so please be sure to check this out. When the parent adds their details it automatically defaults to the mothers details.

For returning players wishing to renew you should have already received a renewal email. If you have not please let us know as this may be because of an incorrect email address in the system and we can fix this for you to enable you to renew and maintain your child's playing history in the system (please do not try to use the Buddha system for new players described above as this can create duplicate records in the system and significant work for us and the administrators of the system correcting this.

Manual Registration

Players should complete and sign the registration form in full and read and sign the Code of Conduct. We request that both parents read and sign the Code of Conduct, as it sets the standard for the club philosophy for behaviour of both players and family at training and games.

The Registration Form and Code of Conduct form are available to download in the Resource Library.

Roseville teams play under the Pathway system in the following Age Groups:

Minis

Under 6 and Under 7 - Walla Rugby

Under 8 and Under 9 - Mini Rugby

Juniors

Under 10 and Under 11 - Midi Rugby

Under 12 through Under 16 - Under 19 Rules

Players play in the age group that matches the age they turn during that calendar year. For example, if they turn 9 during the year they will play in the Under 9 team.

All new players receive free, shorts and socks.

Welcome to all new and returning players for 2012! For those that have registered thank you and those who have not REGISTRATIONS ARE STILL OPEN FOR ALL AGE GROUPS.

Last Sunday saw our second registration day and TRYRUGBY day at Roseville Chase Oval. With over 50 young kids seeing what rugby was all about. As a result we had a tremendous registration day with a team now in the under 6’s, two teams in the under 7’s and an under 8 team. Also we have teams from the under 9’s and up. All teams are looking for more players so please register or bring a friend!

Important Dates

Wednesday 22nd February 2012 Committee Meeting at Roseville Chase Oval Clubhouse at 6.30 pm. All new parents, coaches and managers are encouraged to attend.

Tuesday 13th March 2012 Smart Rugby course at 6.00 pm Chatswood Oval. All coaches (under 6 to 17) and parents who want to ref (under 6 to 9 ) are required to do this course as a minimum requirement.

Wednesday 21st March 2012 ARU development coaches to be at Roseville Chase Oval to coach under 7’s through to 11’s (and give some tips to the coaches) from 4.00 to 5.30 pm for their first training of the season.

Saturday 24th March 2012 FOR ALL TEAMS - Club training, orientation and gear day. At RCO from 3.30 to 5.00pm where parents can meet the coaches and managers, get any gear the boys need and have a club training day. This will be followed by a BBQ and refreshments.

Monday 26th March 2012 Assistant Referees course (i.e. linesmen course) to be held at RCO clubhouse from 6.30 pm. This is relevant for under 10’S and up as they are required to have qualified linesmen for each game FROM ROUND 5.

Saturday 31st March 2012 Under 6’s through to under 9’s have their First Games of the season.

Friday 20th April 2012 Round 1 of the competition starts this weekend for all teams under 10’s and up.
